1 Mile Run (with the five-fingers) -> 6:12. Felt like a nice quick pace.
We did Deadlifts today instead of the Push Press, because Deadlifts are awesome:
1 – 295, 1 – 295, 1 – 295, 1 – 295, 1 – 295
KB Complex @ 1.5 Pood = 12:00. I’ve decided that I will not do all my metcons in even minutes.
Had to run before planks to get to work, but fun day today! And welcome Ana!

An old NYTime’s article, but everyone should realize that despite the growth of CrossFit there are a lot of people out there who think we are crazy just because we get off the coach an attack each day hard… NYTimes called us Gods… cool!
I would be much happier if the WSJ called us gods .
1 mile Run @ 75% Intentsity- 7:16
Dead lifts- 1/1/1/1/1/1/1 (last 4-5 sets @ 90% 1RM)wu- 245- 285-285- 305- 305- 305-315-
5 RFT of: 10 each KB Swing/2 arm High Pull/Goblet Squat/Push Press/Trunk Twist (challenging but doable)- used the 1.5 POOD or 53 # kb – TOOK ME 4 SECONDS LONGER THAN KURT 12:04
Plank- 1/1/1/1 (1 minute each)- Failed midway through 3rd set.
Side Plank- 1/1/1/1 (30 seconds each side)- these were much more manageable to me
