Do I need to know how to lift?

Yes, you should have experience with a barbell. This is a NO Judgement Zone so anyone will be welcome to lift, no matter how much weight you move.

How do I know what numbers to declare for an opener?

During weigh in’s Athletes will be required to declare an opening lift for each the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Your number can go up moments before the event but it cannot go down. Be smart with your choices and give yourself some wiggle room.

Do you have to wear a singlet?

We encourage everyone to wear a singlet in honor of the great sport of weightlifting. We think Jason would have loved to see everyone in a uniform.

Singlets are not mandatory.

Registration deadline is July 20th, 2019

What if I don’t want to Lift?

Please volunteer. We need help in the following roles.

  • Weigh in
  • Score keeper
