Event 3: The Championship Couplet
in 7 minutes teams will complete an AMRAP of 7 Power Cleans RXed (135lbs/95lbs) Scaled (95lbs/65lbs)/ 7 Wall Ball shots Rxed (20lbs/14lbs to 10′) Scaled (20lbs/14lbs to 9′)
Time cap: 7 minutes
Notes: With only one partner working at a time. Partner A will complete one round; 7 power cleans/ 7 wall ball shots then partner B will complete one round of 7 power cleans/ 7 wall ball shots.. They will contine switching every round for 7 minutes.
Scoring: Total reps completed in the time cap
Standards:
Wall-ball Shot
The movement begins from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to hit the specified target. The ball must make contact with the target. If the ball hits the bottom or top edge of the target, or does not hit the target at all, it is a no rep.
Power Cleans
Every rep must begin with the bar on the ground and finish with the bar in the front racked postiton with the elbows in front of the bar, while the athletes legs and hips are fully extended.
