I think you are top female for DU’s!!!!
BTW Iz is always bragging about you, he was going on about your Unbroken 3 Rounds of: 50 each Jumping Jacks/Mountain Climbers/Flutter Kicks…
100 DUs with speed rope instead of my awesome heavy rope -> 1:18. Slower because of 4 or 5 screw ups, but it is easier physically.
MUs worked on various muscle up versions.
Started with the weighted vest and about 12 – 13 pounds. Was able to get about three in a row for two sets with turnouts.
Worked on the no false grip muscle ups and was able to get about 4 for 2 or 3 sets with turnouts.
Finished with strict muscle ups and got about 4 reps for 1 set with turnouts.
The deadlifts were at 215#, and the L sits… well, I don’t want to talk about the L sits.
AND did laundry!
I wanted to start building upper body strength so these exercises become more possible for me to do wholesomely. so.
Did half mile run as a warmup.
Then did the close grip on the assisted pullup machine vverrryyy slowwwllyy, especially on the negatives.
Went back and forth 5 reps for 5 rounds with assisted dips. Felt them get easier with each set.
Did L-sit holds on a Roman Chair 30 secs on 30 secs off (started getting saggy mid 3rd round) for 5 rounds.
Then went and played with the weights. I wanted to figure out what my 1 rep max was for a dead lift. I’m figuring somewhere between 70 and 80 lbs. Make sense?
Finished up with another half mile run.
You may be surprised what your deadlift will be once your form is tight. It is almost always the lift where people can move the most amount of weight.
yeah, i didn’t wanna get too carried away without someone checking my form, so I stopped at 80.
Staying Busy, I like that. Sounds like a nice workout 🙂

Muscle up transitions- FINALLY got the hang of them from the floor, total mental block breakthrough, no go with the band yet, thanks Marina for the tips and moral support 🙂 Awesome watching so many guys hitting muscle ups, hopefully a few more weeks of this and us ladies will be ripping them out as well!
L sits on the rings were tough, didn’t have any unbroken rounds
Frustrating work out at times tonight but lots of inspiration to get stronger! Also, excited to start showing my 718 pride with me new shirt 🙂
no prob girl.. haha yea the guys make it look so easy, but we’ll get there patience and persistence!
Get that big controlled kip and a nice deep dip – and you will have it in no time.

Double unders have been so frustrating for so long, I feel like I’m really starting to get it. Listening to Coach talk about going to that happy place while jumping and being sure to stay relaxed and focused before beginning really made sense to me. 🙂
Strict muscle up? Not too shabby.
