Friday’s in every class
February 25th – March 11th
The CrossFit Games stand alone as the ultimate test of fitness. This is what we have been training for all year! It’s time to test our fitness and see how much we’ve improved, as individuals and as a community. We encourage everyone to participate and get involved in this friendly in-house competition.
For three weeks, starting 2/24 – 3/14, we will host the 2022 CrossFit Open The workouts will be offered on Friday’s in every class. Let’s get together to compete each week throughout the open season and put our training to the test.
This year we will split the community into two teams; Morning Athletes and Evening Athletes. There won’t be any need for recruitment or drafting a team. When you choose your swag, indicate your size and which team you want to be on and we will pre order a shirt for you. Be sure to wear your shirts on Fridays for some fun group photos.
The classes are going to be split into 2 groups. One half will WOD while the other half keeps score and ensures movement standards are being met. Once the first group has finished the WOD, the two groups will switch roles.
The Open gives us a reason to get to the box and train hard. If you choose to participate in the world wide Open, be sure to register at games.crossfit.com an enter your scores each week. We will commit to providing you a judge and validating your scores each week. All we need from you is to commit to getting to the same class time for three weeks. -If you miss a class, we will make it work the best we can.

Why Should I Do This If I’m Not Going to the Games?
First pull-ups, cheering, memories — that’s all well and good, but still: “I’m not a competitive athlete,” you might say, “so why would I do this?”
We hear you, and we’re here to tell you that we hear that a lot. But that’s like not signing up for a marathon because you won’t finish in the top five or qualify for the Olympics. There are many benefits to completing the event independent of where you finish.
If you’re not in it to win it, the Open is a way to check in on your fitness, hold you accountable to moving forward and staying motivated for the upcoming year, accomplish personal goals, and celebrate with the community.
“What are the workouts like? I just don’t think the Open is for me.”
The workouts programmed during the Open are no different than those you perform at your affiliate each day. Attending class, practicing the movements of CrossFit, and working to move well each day mean you’re well-equipped and ready to take on the Open!
How will you know my size?
Coach Tammy will email you as soon as you make your purchase, to confirm your size and team.
