Save the Date: July 9th @ 8am 718 is inviting the Team to our First Beach WOD & BBQ at Manhattan Beach. We would like everyone to bring their families and enjoy a day of Fun in the Sun. We are planning on a KettleBell WOD, Tug a War, KB Throws, Long Jumps, Death by Watery Push ups, and Much Much More!!!
Everyone should bring something. Some food, drinks, cups, plates, spoons ,napkins & BYOB.. Please Sign up in the office with what items you can bring so we can be prepared with everything we need for a successful party!! Parking is available ($20).

Fun today. Did a quick little warm up of 1 min max effort du for 63, rest, 1 min of 19″ box jumps for 46, rest, 1 min of burpees for 23,rest, 1 min of pull ups for 36.
Nate with 1.5 pood – 7 rounds and failed for almost 6 minutes with my muscle ups. Tough but good for the soul.
And tgu with the barbell. Got to 75# with right and left. Failed at 85#
Rest Day Work…
TGU with the Bar 35lbs both Sides followed by a one arm snatch both arms!! 45lbs both Sides, got em up, couldn’t get em down… Also followed by one arm snatches both sides.
Still working on my Pull Ups…. 5 Bar Holds for 10 seconds at the Top position.
Front Squat = 85×5/85×5
I havent been able to get any Muscle Ups But…
OMG Today I got 6 official HSPU’s, all the way up and all the way down!! I am gonna go do some more now..

Had a complete brain freeze on the muscle ups after round 2 and wasted a good 2 min failing until Coach dropped the rings about an inch. Wish I had those 2min back – I am sure I could have knocked out 12 rounds. Next time.

I didn’t get to write down my warm up counts before Coach erased em, but I do remember my Pullups hit 24 in one minute, (PR) and I got 23 unbroken Double Unders, and mid 30’s total. (PR)
Subbed Muscle ups with jumping muscle ups, and Handstand’s with pike pushups and a 1.5 pood bell. 11 rounds in total.
I’ve got a lot of work to do.
