Pistols killed me. I will put them next to double unders on my things-to-conquer list.
Snatch Balance: 1x 85/95/105/110/115/125/130. I think I can go higher, but am super pumped about the 130 PR.
AMRAP 10 minutes: 20 Jump Lunges (x each side)/ Burpees. Just missed 3 full rounds.
Then, Jacinto said to us early birds, “Does anyone want to do Fight Gone Bad?” And I, lacking any capability for rational thought after having my ass kicked in class, said “Sure!”
Totaled 151.
Then went home and ate half a dozen eggs.
It wasnt my best decision. i messed up my math, so did a bit better than 151, but i think i will head straight to the stretching mat next week post-workout.

Did the WU with 1.5pood KB swings instead of pushups, and I did band-assisted pistols.

My shoulder has been feeling a little better, I can kip again, but still can’t press/dip/pushup. So with my ability to kip restored, I wanted to work on them. So I did Nicole.
20 min AMRAP of 400m run, max effort pullups.
Total: 22-20-16-20-20 = 98
Wanted 100, but I’ll get it next time.
Can’t wait to get back to full health and hit the Rx’d WODs with you guys again!!!

‘heaving’ snatch balances –>
95#, 105#, 115#, 125#, 135#, 145#(f), and 145# (but I caught it in a 3/4 squat and completed it with a OH squat).
Really was working on catching the weight in a full squat for my snatches. I didn’t want to do a behind the back push jerk (too much of a strength).
The 10 Minute AMRAP –> 3 rounds + 14 lunges. The lunges were a killer. With the pistols in the warm up… damn. Got bruises on my knees from this one!
