Rest Day 5/19/11

Team 718 Did an amazing job at the MetroDash challenge this past weekend!! Both our Male and Female teams finished in 5th Place. Very close race. Next year we will bring home the Gold. Our Thor Cup Challengers came in 2nd & 3rd.
The Basics Cycle Starts Monday May 30th
This 3 week cycle will be hosted by Coach Jacinto, and will run Monday’s and Wednesdays @ 6:30pm.
Sundays at the Park are OUT!!!!!
We will NO longer be attempting to meet at Prospect Park on Sundays… Too Much confusion, and the weather sucks!! Meet us at the Box for our 10am Class.

So I did the kb gauntlet from the other day tonight at work with one of my brothers.
I used a 1.5 pood for the swings and a 1.0 pood for all the rest.
One note I only had one kb for myself so the clean and press was done five right then five left.
I couldn’t get a clear picture of what the kb Tabata figure eight was so I skipped it….
All Ten rounds completed in 42:42 …. Boom …. Primetime
Great workout what a freaking sweat.

Finally broke the 300 mark (since I started at 718)! 315# on my deadlift today!
19:50 on the ‘little’ wod. Just couldn’t bring it after the half-marathon yesterday, but happy with under 20.
And 1.41.7 for the 500 meter row. I think that is right around my usual. Good day!
Fun to see Ally pull 170# on the deadlift!
