Metro Dash came out with new dates for 2012… instead NJ they are having it in Brooklyn on May 12…. $35 for teams of 4…. we should try to claim it again 🙂

A few words about Leader Boards, PrimeTime and Competitiveness.
My Leader Board is on my refrigerator door, the perfect place, where it is admired by my daughter, for whom I do it all.
My PrimeTime is rushing home from work to cook a healthy meal, review homework and practice multiplication tables. “So, if mommy has 65lbs on each side of a 45lbs bar, what’s the total weight?” She answers, “oh, you could squat that easy!” She is who I need to impress!
I AM MY TOUGHEST COMPETITION!!!!!
CrossFit is mine, yours and ours! We are a UNIT comprised of different ages, backgrounds, races, professions, political views, etc. We are a UNIT!

3 RFT = 4:20 @ 12!! Kept it light cause my shoulders are shot
161 air squats and rowwed 1283 M in 10 minutes
8 rounds of 5 strict pull ups. first 3 rounds unbroken then last 5 rounds 3 strict and 2 kipping. I also tried working on the butterfly but i looked more like I was having an epileptic fit rather than anything.
3 RFT 15 ring rows and 20 -24 Kilo kettlebell swings 5:35. My ankle is killing me. Chris, my email at work is mcahill@midwood.com Rock on good people.
Didn’t count the warmup, but I think squats were like 50-45-45-30-30 or so. Row was 200 and change every minute.
5×9 pullups, All strict, getting better, though the last couple of sets I may have kipped a bit to get started or to get my chin over. I also thought it was 5×10 for some reason, and realized after the 9th set ;).
Final metcon, 15 rows, 20 swings 24kg bell 3 rounds, 6:43

First 2 sets were with bar thickening grips and the other 6 were working on the butterfly. I am glad I did 40 strict pull ups last night as a cash out….always happens to me!

Brunhilda sounds like quite a bitch.
Good workout today. I don’t remember much about my numbers but I believe I hit 1287m on the row and 5:55 on the couplet. I started w/ Brunhilda but switched to the 24kg for the second and third round. The 800m 40lb sandbag run was somewhere around 5 minutes.
Anyone watch “I, Caveman”, w/ Robb Wolf on Discovery? The concept was pretty cool. Spoiler Alert: he kills the elk!
