21/15/9 RFT Russian KB Swing (12kg) /Ring Dips (red band)/Ball Slam (15)/ Box jump (18in) did it in 9 minutos and 27 seconds

Great big class this morning. Saturdays are always fun.
1:11 on the 400 Meter Run -> Stupid big ass truck cut me off when I tried to cut him off. Had to run around him, and failed to get the PR (previous PR is 1:10).
With the Kettle Bell Fun I stuck with 1 pood. Except for the 1.5 pood for the goblet squat and lunges. I had issues with stability and some minor aching in my left arm (probably from the 15 or so muscle ups I did before class).
For the metcon I had to sub various things because of the large class:

Pood (Russian: пуд, pud), is a unit of mass equal to 40 funt (фунт, Russian pound). It is approximately 16.38 kilograms (36.11 pounds).[1] It was used in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Pood was first mentioned in a number of documents of the 12th century.
Together with other units of weight of the Imperial Russian weight measurement system, pood was officially abolished by the USSR in 1924. However, the term remained in widespread use at least until the 1940s.[2]
Its usage is preserved in modern Russian in certain specific cases, e.g., in reference to sports weights, such as traditional Russian kettlebells, cast in multiples and fractions of 16 kg (which is pood rounded to metric units). For example, a 24 kg kettlebell is commonly referred to as “one-and-half pood kettlebell” (polutorapudovaya girya). My brother and I will be competing in the “heroes team challenge” so I will sign us up. Thanks for looking out and of course I will see everyone there.
For anyone who didn’t do it last year it was a lot of fun and a good challenge. Tammy and I were watching some of the early heats and said to each other “why are they walking in that part of the course?” …. We found out ! Right Tammy
