Warm up: Pathetic 1 Mile run @ 10:31 BOOooooo – Didnt even try
Diane: 21/15/9 HSPU/ DeadLift @ 135 = 13:40
I worked with 2 AbMats and 45lb Plates, so tecnacilly there was only 1/2 inch over the plates… Pretty close to Rx as I can get today..
Either way, my work was slow.. Video to follow..
Thanks Marina for Bursting My bubble… 🙁 my weight wasnt Rx’ed
Should have been @ 155…. So Sad, all that work for nothing… Could have just Scaled the HSPU’s too…
Correct! Athletes need to keep themselves (with their Coach’s help) in their limits. The idea is to get stronger and faster for life. Bad form = hurt or stagnating in your growth later. Bad form = never getting better.
Your score might not be the best today, but if you keep your nose to the grindstone and work that form and test your limits of your ability to maintain that form under stress – you will be even better later.
I am sure that there are many times when we see a particular WOD occassionally and feel a bit deterred to participate. But, fortunately some people push through and perform to their despite their previous hesitations… While others choose to be unattended. That mind frame is strentgh alone, and that’s what you had with this WOD. Before you even executed the tasks you were strong enough to commit to something you don’t necessarily like (maybe the run w/e it may be)… You broke over the mind barrier which can be harder than the physical ones… So you should be proud of yourself! For someone who didn’t enjoy the WOD, those numbers do not depict a quitter, but a winner in my eyes. Great job!
That was insane. Rx’d at 15:07. Elite is 2 mins????

1 mile Run in the rain – 8:48 Thanks to an amazing running buddy Steve for keeping me going 🙂
Diane – @125lbs and 2 abmats = 13:28
hollow rocks and supermans killed my back 🙁
Thanks for singing to me. It made my day. Where was the cake though?
Diane – 21@ 205#, 15&9 @ 185#, 8:36. Had poor form. Next time going to start with 185 and really focus. My hspu’s are ugly, but I am trying at least.
I think the hollow rocks and supermans were a great way to release some of the tension in my back and hips due to all the dl’s.
