I’m not sure about that running technique (;
B2B Tabata Squats –> Somewhere between 100 and 110 (have it written down, but not in front of me)
Shoulder Press –> 5 @ 95#, 4 @ 105#, 3 @ 115#, 1 @ 125#, 1 @ 130# (been a long time since I hit 130#… pretty happy about that.)
4 Rounds with GHD –> 10:58. (GHD was slower than I would have liked)
Good day. Very excellently planned out, I must add. We finished right on time. We had a good strength portion. The tabata squats and the metcon at the end were a great compliment. Everyone was able to scale the metcon to keep it within a few minutes of each other. Enjoyed it (but my hip flexors will hate everyone later!).
which running technique.. the one that the guy in the pic is using? LOL
Yep, THAT GUY.

4 RFT – 2 rounds GHD, 2 rounds regular mat situps – 7:54 def felt those tabata squats on these sprints…
way to go Jane on her PR on the press!
Tabata bottom to bottom squats: 149 all those “dig deeps” from Coach Iz really helped me push.
press 5@ 45lbs, 4@ 50lbs, 3@ 55lbs 1@ 60 pounds, couldn’t get the last 3 reps after many attempts… Desperately wanted to use my knees, but in time I won’t feel that way. Thanks Coach Iz for the encouragement =) and Marina for the grip advice. Way to go Jane on her PR’s…
4rft 200m run and 25 ab mat sit ups… 7 min and 36 sec.
Nice WOD last night crashing ladies night. Very encouraging to see my Primetime guys working out without me. It was great walking into the gym and seeing everyone in a circle putting in work.
Did the KB workout at 44 lbs based on Coach’s recommendation that 35 would be too fast and 50-tree would take too long.
I believe the time domain he was looking for was somethin between 15-25 min.
I finished in 23:27.
Jimmy- I would love to see the pic you took post WOD with your phone.
See you guys Tuesday!
Just think about what’s required physically to be able to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waIuhfoTMv8
We actually had a visitor who was doing a tour of CrossFit boxes and was a pole dancer – and taught pole dancing. Very strong – and hated double-unders.
