Wow, that’s insane thruster weight. Guys down here are on steroids. Farmacias have big posters advertising “Anabolic Steroids Available Here!” Crazy business. Will post a pic one day to FB.
Crossfit boxes in Puerto Vallarta be like Domingo es por familia. Soooo nothing is open. Thankfully there is a municipal sports complex open to the public all days with a track, a bunch of fields for various sports and work out equipment. So I dragged my gringo ass out of bed to do the CF 718 workout from 1/5/14:
A. WU 200M run at 50% / 30 air squats / 5 pushups
B. Descending ladder 10-1 of Jump Squats/Push Ups – 2:28rx
C. 8 RFT – 200M run / 9 Burpees / 8 Sit Ups – 15:42rx
First official WOD by myself, ever. Last two runs I had to force myself to slow down the breathing. Dope little burner. Going to Guadalajara soon to coach a few classes in Spanish. I will be thinking of you guys! Keep it sweaty…
There aren’t many workouts better for me than this one… even in the cold.
A) 1k Row – 3:40ish
B) Ralph – 4RFT: 8 Deadlift @ 250/16 Burpee/3 Rope Climb/600m Run – 23:55
After a week full of weak point workouts, it was nice to be able to take a shot at this one.

Scaled the deadliest because I was a little worried I might not be able to handle it, but after doing the WOD I would have just had to do sets of 4 and I think I would still have finished in the cap.
