HOT today. Worked out alone, so I couldn’t do the mile run. I did ANNIE as a warm up instead. 6:37. More than 30 seconds off my PR, but great as a warmup.
Hit RANDY today as the WOD, because I wanted to snatch as part of my WOD, but can’t do muscle ups right now. 🙁 First time doing it, and I did it in 9:01. Not bad, but not great. Also, I bartended the past four nights, so I’m feeling a little drained of energy. Ah well, such is life! CROSSFIT!!!
Btw – Looking at all those beach pics, I can’t help but think that I’ve never seen so many freaking abs before! Everyone is looking so damn good!!! 🙂

Strict, kipping, butterfly = a lot of pullups
Felt great definitely getting the hang of the kipping, butterfly not pretty but it was there!

20 KB Swing (24kg)
800 m Run
15 Wallball (10kg)

30 GHD Sit Ups
Then stretching.
You right Tammy, I gotta learn to stretch afterwards.
Then we hung out for a while and talked about callouses!

Well I am still so sick after the beach WOD, bad cold…
I really wanted to do this one. Iz your muscle up clinic was very interesting. I learned so much just by watching. I am Definetly going to practice some of those new techniques – Thanks
Ok guys tomorrow we have construction at the gym, the new pull ups are going up!! Yay. Sorry for the mess, but so you know Iz and I worked for 15 straight hours today gearing up and we plan to do so for the next 2 days until the cOnstruction is done. It’s going to be so nice when it’s done. Might be a little cranky, dOnt mess with me ;P
Place is going to look good when all done! Doing good guys!
6:05 on the run. Which is a pr. Was not really trying to push it. Just working on pose running and rythem. Pretty psyched abput the run. Fastest previous time was 6:19 (ever).
11:24 for Amanda with 105. Still need to turn out at the bottom of the muscle up. Going to stick it into my warm ups.

To be honest, I was pretty happy with that.
Amanda, 9-7-5 of Snatch / Muscle Ups = 10:40
I did 45# for the Snatch and jumping, band-assisted muscle ups.
After class I worked on kipping. And now I will go pumice down the skin on my paws. 😉

Getting close to the Muscle up, My goal is to get a real one this summer.
Beach WOD looked great 🙂 too bad I missed it, though I think I would have tried to turn it into a game of Beach Ultimate.
