Big PRs on my cleans today. After the hang power cleans, getting under the bar seemed so easy. My 1RM on ANY clean coming in to today was 190, so to hit 195 for three, and then hit 205 for one was awesome. Super psyched about today! 🙂

I find these metcon’s so brutal. Hard to tell if Im improving bc they vary so much, but I always seem to finish around 20:00.

Thanks to the kip I can do 36 Chest to bar pullups, 90 days ago it was a much different story. Starting to get some gnarly callouses too…sweeeeet!! (and ouch)
If your teaching it, i’m there dude…. I cleaned 210 I believe. 2 out of three was the best I could do.. Got a bit lethargic at the end. Got up to 210 for 3 reps then 215 for only one.
Power clean: 3×135. Then struggled and struggled some more before shrinking back to 115 and doing the reps broken.
Was stuck up in my brain Inception- style and couldn’t get out to focus. Disappointing, but that means room for improvement.

Came early and did 2 hspu on the parralettes and 5 deadlifts at 185# on the minute for 20 minutes.
Hpc – 135#, 155#, 165 x1 165 x 1 165 x 1
Hc – 170# x 1, 165 x1 165 x1 165 x1 165 x1
Pc – 155, 160 x 1, 135, 135
For push ups got a total of 66 reps.
And little pointers from Alex got two no kip muscle ups.!

This is the bench mark work out Helen, but with chest to bar instead of just regular kipping pull ups. Not bad time!

So at this point I was a little oxygen deprived and started doing squat cleans rather than Power Cleans. Did 2 sets of Squats and 1 Power.
SC x 3- 175 / 200 (30# PR) – Should have just finished with these as I could have gone heavier.
