Awesome workout. Pushed myself wo straining back. Ty tammy and iz!
Warm Up – 5 minutes hip/shoulder mobility/2 min Jump Rope (light)
Squat – 1/1/1 build to 1 rep max- 225- 245- 265- 275 PR
AMRAP in 1 Attempt of: Squat 85% 1RM- 7 reps at 225#. i could have gotten 1 more maybe 2 but I thought we were going for 3 rounds. Again I didn’t pay attention much in class.
Weighted Push Up- 1/1/1 build to 1 rep max- we got to 100lbs worked in about 6 rounds.
AMRAP in 1 Attempt of: Weighted Push Up 85% 1RM- I could only do 3 rounds at 80# I felt so weak on this one.
4 rounds of: 1 min Burpee Broad Jump/1 min K.B. Thruster (16kg/12kgx2)/1 min Ball Slam (20/12)/1 min Box Jump (24/18″)/2 min Jump Rope (light)- we did this as 2 rounds as rxed I got 22 thrusters, 16 burpees, 39 ball slams, 25 box jumps and skipped rope 139 times 241 reps in total.
I had fun working with a partner Chris this morning, the kid is strong and pushed me that much more. Good times, happy birthday to Tammy and Big Dan, Dan’s the man.

Starting to feel the very soreness. Going to need extra support to know i CAN make it thru a thurs 630 pm class and a fri 7am class after just doing my first WOD class today after basics.
Like i know there are people (athletes and trainers) that can pull of about 10 hrs between another WOD, but coming from a girl who doesn’t know how to ride a bike and smoked the last 18 years, i’m thinking wtf did i just get myself into.
Like everything else i do in life, i throw my heart and soul and do with such zeal and passion. (that’s why stuff like dishes never get done bc i have no love for it!!! Lol)
So pretty please universe help me get thru the 2 back to back workouts. Never had such little rest recovery time. But i believe if tammy and iz said i can do it if i pace myself, i could. Yikes! Lol!
And my Grandma bless her heart has thinks i’m overdoing it and going ocd, that 2-3 60min cardio a week will tone and give me sexy shape. Eeek. That muscles look bad. I think they look damn sexy and i do not want to be an elliptical or treadmill slave.
