Sooo… I still have no idea if I could have worked harder or if I worked too hard. 😉
400 m run @ 75% => 1:58
Dead Lifts @ 85% of 1RM:
Warm-up – 45×5, 65×5
Work – 5×85, 5×115, 5×140, 4×140, 5×140, 5×140, 1×140
Power Cleans:
Warm-up – 3×15
Work – 3×65, 3×75, 3×85
12 min AMRAP:
run 200m / 3 power cleans @ 70# / 20 ball slam @ 10#
=> 4 rounds
Heart rate was even around 150. My midwife says this is fine for a short workout like a 12 minute amrap.
I was concerned about my form on the dead-lifts and power-cleans. Is my uterus okay? Didn’t feel any pain or strain, so I guess so…?

Deadlift – 5x 175 / 185 / 195 / 205 / 215 / 225 / 235
Power Clean – 3x 115 / 125 / 135
12 min amrap @ 75% BW (115#) = 5 Rounds + 200m Run
Felt really strong throughout this amrap. I tried taking only 3 breaths during rests which definitely helped me to keep pushing forward at a good pace. Afterwards though, I was completely gassed! Amazing how your body allows you to keep going until you finish the task, but then completely gives in once you finish. Phew! Good times.
Off to buy some deep V’s 🙂

warm up 400m 1:43 Deadlift ended up at 325 (I think) which is a lot less than 85% of max. Was not feeling it today. Grip got best of me. Power Clean ended up at 155 trying to work on my form (needs some work). WOD 5 full rounds. (went way too light 115). Great class. Thank You… Corey that was hysterical and yes my v’s are that deep. If your not going to go deep might as well not go at all.

Power Cleans x 3 – 135 / 165 / 185 x 2 (3rd rep failed – I damn near ripped my thumb off my hand. Had some tunnel vision and thought I was going to pass out. I kept it together as I was terrifed that Steve would have sprung into action and provided mouth to mouth!)
Metcon @ 155lbs – 5rds + 200m
Great work tonight Tam, Jose, Steve and Mike B! Always so much fun WOD’ing with you guys!! And the 6pm class killed it too. Jane and Sloots, you two were beasts on the Metcon, great work. Glad I stayed to watch!

3/3/3 power cleans (also worked with frank) : 135/155/165 I seem to be jumping forward, will try to correct that.
12minute amrap : 200m sprint/3 power clean @155#/20 ball slams 20# ball – 5 full rounds +200m+3pc+1slam. Tried to keep pace with jane but was no match for her. I probably need to lose 10-15 to match her speed.

Went conservative with the dead lifts. Really did not want to over do it!
Cleans: stopped at 175. Really focused on form and getting my elbows to turn fast.

Was a great WOD today! Whomever composed it was a genius. Lol. Really great to work with the team. You guys were great tonight. It’s this type of attitude that keeps us going!
Really looking forward to mobility class tomorrow, put the body into neutral so to speak!
