Geeee’s Chris…. Thanks for blowing up spots. 😛
Ok. Weird day today. Lots of fun coaching. Got my Wedler squats in –> 5 @ 65% = 170#, 5 @ 75% = 200#, 5 @ 85# = 225#.
Started some laundry, and did the WOD from Friday, because it looked like a lot of fun.
100 DU
100 squats
50 PC @ 95#
Time = 6:44
Was gunning for Coach Iz’s time, but the power cleans were much slower than expected – I blame Sunday’s cleans (;
Went to turn over my clothes in the dryer and do today’s snatch’s, but the washer was broke and the clothes had to be washed again… and blah blah blah. Anyways… I had fun with what I was able to do.
AND for all those nutrition nuts… many of you know I really like the Zone Diet, and it was the original gospel for CrossFit nutrition before Paleo. The great part is Zone and Paleo can go hand in hand. Zone provides the quantity of the foods to eat, and Paleo provides the quality of food to eat. Those of you interested I would suggest a food journal to see what works best for you (HINT: probably up your fat intake). AND here is some good info on how to get started:

Any questions? Just ask me.
BTW some of you may want to kipp over to gymnastics class tomorrow or wednesday.
Thanks for sharing… love the nutrition 411
Really enjoyed getting to take the OLY class today!
6 rds-6 plyo push ups/6 tuck jumps- not sure what my time was but I made it through 4 rds of plyos before I had to switch to regular push-ups which I was psyched about
Worked on push presses, jerks, power snatches, muscle snatches and high bar back squats. I don’t remember my weights on much of it, but it was great to have time to do lower weights and focus on form. Great working with you again Lindsey!
Got the morning off for potluck day- woop woooop! I’m making a sweet potato, bacon and apple salad. Unfortunately have to work for Estebans’ going away get together but I asked nicely to get out early that night and will be there later. Yay for 718 bonding time 🙂
I am so excited about our Night out!! It’s gonna be great. Marina is going to post more details soon.
We should get a tournament going, we could all chip in $5 for a winner takes all challenge.
Thought I could make it on time, but I thought it was Friday night. I wont be done at the store until after 10pm. I’ll see if I can meet up with the festivities.

Thank you Coach Tammyli for warming us up =)
400 m farmers walk with 12 K.
Front Squat… worked up to max rep… 95 pounds was my original max rep..went to 105, 110, and finally 115. Thank you Coach Israel for the gentle push… Congratulations Sensei for your 60lb PR… you get better each WOD you attend… love that! Congrats to Cory as well for PR’ing.
15 min AMRAP: 5 strict hspu, 3 front squats @ 65% and 1 rope climb.
mod hspu to pike on box (these are actually challenging for me sad to say, but I can’t wait till I can do the real thing).front squats @75lbs.
total- 8 rounds even
I really liked that Coach Iz allowed us to focus on the front squat… I doubt I would have pr’ed as much if it was during a regular WOD. The AMRAP was creative and comprised of movements that I appreciated to practice. Thank you Coach Israel for comprising such a well organized class targeting strength technique… it was an enlightening class!
Thanks For the Feed Back. I have been enjoying them myself too.
Congrats Sensi!!
I tell the truth and nothin but that…You welcome sugar plum
