Did this one in March (the full one), this is how i learned my DU’s back then! Took me 53 minutes!

I just love long WOD’s like this. Although I had a brain freeze on the KBS weight – did 20kg not 24kg. Was very happy with the GHD’s – was through about 70 before I started to really tire on them. And it is amazing how hard it is to go right into double unders after rowing, I had many trip ups. Overall a fun time and the 11:15 crew did so great. And thanks Steve for hanging around to cheer us on!

Long metcons are my favourite! 🙂
Usually the hardest part about these long ones for me is just straight up muscle failure, but today it was all mental. I only got DUs recently so it was super tough for me to not get frustrated. There was a lot of cussing going on in my corner. In retrospect I’m glad I could practice my DUs but I don’t think I’ve ever detested a WOD more while I was doing it!!
Looking around the room and seeing everyone constantly moving and putting in great effort was the only thing that held me together- Marina, Cory, Jane you guys rocked it today!!!
And jose kept me great company on the row even though he refuses to acknowledge my presence… i I know you enjoy my hugs, don’t lie.
42:43 Rx. Full ROM on the GHDs.
Really need to mobilize tonight!

A great time today and really really challenging.
My time was 42:12. Rx. I admit my GHDs were ugly. Back spasms kept me from fully extending. Something else to work on and get better at. 🙂
