Yes !!! I finally made the main page. Not my happiest moment in the gym. A note to my fellow crossfitters do not put new skin in cuts that are so deep the blood bubbles up out of them.
Good luck to all on the next open wod, I will be doing it on Sunday to max out my healing time.

We did the first WOD as a RFT in 10 minutes. I finished 4 rounds up to 12 thrusters and Pullups.
5 RFT- 3 dead lifts @225#/9 bar facing Burpees/ 15 DU’s 10:50
the cool down with the V sit ups and the rockers hurt. Good times I am looking forward to friday
Games open WOD at 70lbs. In 7 minutes I completed the 3s, 6s, and 9s. Then I got 12 thrusters and 6 chest to bar pullups. I used the blue band for the pullups.
5 RFT of: 3 DeadLift (135lbs)/ 9 Bar Facing Burpees/ 15 Double Unders – I think I was 10:14
My left hand is torn up from yesterday so just glad I could do everything. Fun having a crowd this morning!

BTW You went 5 lbs heavier than all the ladies today…

Then closed out with some really humbling ab work. Beat to hell now.

Owned this one, felt really good, so I did the open WOD 11.6, which I wasn’t planning on doing til Friday.
Got the 3’s,, 6’s, 9’s, 12’s, and 10 thrusters. Total of 70 reps. Hard as HELL.

This was a hard game for all of us, but next year Team 718 is gonna nail it. It was fun!!
I totally lost count on Coach CanaDan’s totally-not-made-up warm up. It was 7 minutes of push-ups, box-jumps, and PCV over-head squats. I have no idea how many I did; but I do know that I kept doing 6 push-ups instead of 5…
So… the 7 MIN AMRAP of thrusters and chest-to-bar pull-ups… I used the heavy band and had 35 lbs total (incl bar) and 3/3, 6/6, 9/9, 12/12 + 4 thrusters. Shoulda done a heavier weight.
And the 5 RFT of 3 dead-lifts / 9 bar-facing burpees / 15 double-unders..? 18:07
I had 105 lbs on the bar.
This is the first class where I thought about quitting; but I didn’t. And this is also the first class where I thought I might puke; but I didn’t. Getting less sleep than usual might have contributed…

You got to push yourself a little more everytime Gilli, next time you are in the Box, I dont want to hear that you should have went heavier… on your warm up, make sure that you are comfortable with your weight, it should be challenging to the point where your form doesnt get messed up… But overall your #’s were very good.
