Just a heads up, my fiance Marleah is running the Brooklyn half-marathon on Saturday, so if anyone is up early and wants to cheer her on, lemme know! The course is through the park, and then down ocean parkway, ending in coney island. Should be fun! Maybe someone else here is running it too?
ia m scheduled to run as well as Rod. Tweeked my neck over the weekend at that metro carry heavy stuff broken leg maker dash. But I am looking forward to running. I know at least 5 other people running and we will probably get a few cold beverages in coney island after the finish and it it is warm enough a jump in the water. Good luck Marleah.

Just wanted to check in quickly and thank everyone for being so supportive to Morgan and me the past few days. We are so grateful for everyone who called and texted and posted and visited or had her in your thoughts while she’s been getting fixed up. It really means a lot. Surgery was successful and she will be “on her feet” in just a few days. She will be coming home Tuesday or Wednesday, then 6 weeks of crutches, then after 8 weeks she can bear full weight. In 90 days she will be feeling like her old self we hope, and she’ll be dancing and running again a few months after that. All those pushups she’s been doing I think will come in handy in the next few months. She is in good spirits and is on her way to a full recovery.
She is in room 5614 B, if anyone wanted to visit, at Lutheran Medical Center in Sunset Park. We will be there for a few days probably.

65/80/95/110. For some reason this felt a little too easy. I think i’m due for another PR soon.

Finished the DU’s rather quickly but only got 5 1/2 rounds in at 95 lbs. The bent over rows were very difficult for me.

Snatch – 1 rep x 8 sets @ 145# (felt pretty good)

“Jackie” 1000 M Row, 50 Thrusters @ 45#, 30 Pull Ups –> 8:39 (Not my best, but not bad. Endurance wasn’t there on the thrusters.)
