Squat Thrusters: 95/105/115/125/ Failed 130 (so close!)
9 min AMRAP of: 2 Squat Thrusters @ 105/ 4 ring dips (blue band) / 8 toes to bar = 5 rounds (was originally putting the bar down between thrusters, picked up speed once I realized that I just had to clean it once)
Sprint: 40 yards – 10 rounds (w/ 30 seconds rest). Hovered around :06.0.
Pumped for Friday!

started out with some double unders struggled with them a little bit because I am out of practice. I will get better. Tweaked something in my shoulder/ back during the early thrusters. but i am happy that I am getting close to getting body weight over head. Give me a month or 2 I will get it. Remind me to use the bar in the front of the box next time much easier on the hands. good times this morning. Jes you are an animal you crushed the WOD i think you lapped me twice .

Felt fine on my arm/shoulder until the 225#, and it started to hurt so I dropped. Felt strong up until that point though!
Couldn’t do the metcon today, so I did this instead:
200m farmers carry w/ 1.5pood KB per arm
21 box jumps @ 32 ”
21 ball slams @ 20#
200m farmers carry w/ 1.5pood KB per arm
15 box jumps @ 32 ”
15 ball slams @ 20#

Coach Dan pushed us at noon. The squat/ring dip/toe touch amrap I fell behind, but I was glad to learn I still had some speed left over from high school. 5.56 was my fastest 40 yrd sprint. People kept asking us what were training for. I told them Olympic hurdling.

haha I love this. We should have a Crossfit Field Day one weekend. Do you people have field day in the Northeast or is that a southern thing? You know, 5- yard dash, three legged race, water balloon toss, sack race, etc

AMRAP 2 FSquat / 4 Ring Dips / 8 T2B / = 3 Rounds + 2 + 4 + 4 (dropped my first round second squat, never really recovered to keep up with the group)
Sprints, all sub six seconds, fastest strangely was the 9th, aforementioned 5.65.
I really wanna get that ring pull up (I forget what’s it called); my goal by end of the month.
Coach Dan did some sprints with us too. Fastest was 5.1. So he’s the real champ.
I drink too much beer.
