Squats – 155/165 12/12
TTB Klled me here, I really need to work on form, core and grip strength to get these inline. I had to do go down to Knees to elbow after the second set.

Otherwise, I just take a razor to mine and it seems to help.
callouses were building especially after today. toes to bar are not easy expecially after the kettle bell work it was hard to hold on. Fun class this morning
I took Iz’s advice and bought a pumice stone. Every day in the shower. Works on your tongue and eyebrows and i don’t ever have to shave anymore, I just pumice.

Squat- 12/12 @65%1RM- worked at 175# this morning, it got a little tough near the last 2-3 reps.
25/20/15/10/5 RFT of: K.B. Swing (24/16kg)/ Squat Jump/T2B – 15:48 I believe my time was. Callouses were getting close to ripping after the T2B . I am having a hard time holding a pen right now.
We had a nice little something extra on the way out with 21-15-9 of push ups, lunge jumps and push ups. Good job jess. keepign the troops motivated. Good job morning crew.

What happened to all the 5PM classes Mon-Weds? Now that August is over I’m sure you’d get your 5pm PrimeTime Back (like me!). 5pm was bumpin’ all summer until August the Vacation Month. Consider this blog post Mike B’s plea to bring them (or at least some) back!

Mike – my understanding is that there is an evil faction within 718 that feels Prime Time was becoming too strong of a force. This is merely a weak attempt at slowing down the greatest hour of crossfit this world has ever seen. As your leader I want to inform you that this will not slow us down! We will now be working twice as hard at 6pm. Please understand Prime Time is not a time per say but a way of life. See you at 6pm! And all are welcome….if you dare. MUHAHA, MUHAHA, MUHAHAH!!!

Good workout today. Feeling good about my strength and metcons lately, I think it’s the compression sleeves.

Strength WOD:
Back Squat 5-5-5-5-5 @ 185#, went lighter here than I have in the past, but I really focused on depth and good form. Thanks Kurt for helping me out here.
Bench Press 5-5-5-5-5 @ 155#
Power Cleans 3-3-3-3-3

My left wrist is feeling a little sore still from when I jammed it last week on cleans, so I went lighter here than normal as well.
25-20-15-10-5 KB swing 24KG, squat jumps, T2B
Total: 12:53. My grip was seriously suffering by the end. First round of T2B was 15 + 10 all kipped, and then by the next round it was 5’s the rest of the WOD. All KB swings were unbroken though as were the squat jumps basically. I may have stopped for a second on a round or two. Either way, felt good to hit this!
15 minutes of mobility post class.

After Yesterdays rope climbs and todays grip work, I am growing Popeye forearms. I think I’ll have some spinach for dinner.
I showed up feeling a little nauseous; but as always, a little activity helps. And also as always, a lot of activity makes me feel a little sick again. Ha!
WU: 2 RFT of 20 each, sit-ups / flutter kicks / russian twists w/ 10#
I only did two rounds of Tammy’s ab warmup because it was taking me too long with my nausea. Ugh.

Squats: 12/12 at 65% of 1RM
I warmed up with 15×3, 35×3, 65×3, 70×3.
=> I worked with 70#.
25/20/15/10/5 RFT of KB Swing / Squat Jump / T2B:
=> 15:21
I used 12 kg / 26 # on the KB and only did knee raises on the T2B and even with that my heart rate hit 150 and stayed there. I tried to take breaks but I was feeling macho and couldn’t slow myself down enough. Felt a little nauseous at the end, but that might have been hunger.
